Secret passages and room
A secret room is the most intimate and private space imaginable; it is one’s own interiority that becomes space.
It is a place accessed through a secret passage, where you can isolate yourself from the rest of the world, but it can also be the room where you can welcome the most important guests and make them feel part of your intimacy. A space where you can keep your most precious objects, a hiding place in the house that only you are aware of. A place only yours, where you can spend time without fear of being disturbed.
Be it a room, a secret passage or a small space for precious objects.
Each solution we propose is made according to your needs and your interior style to offer you maximum safety, functionality and elegance.
A secret room is a place you reach through one or more secret doors, which are made invisible because concealed in the walls, in a bookshelf, in a closet or in any furniture element.
A secret room can be functional to personal safety, but it is much more. A secret room can be a source of complicity with your most important guests and be an element that makes your home extraordinarily interesting.
A secret passage is an invisible passage, created to access from a shared space to a secret private environment.
Imperceptible, hidden in a wall or in other furnishing elements, the secret passage can include one or more hidden doors and can be conceived according to different levels of complexity, from the simplest ones – as a direct passage from a known environment to a secret room, or with different passages and hidden environments up to a heart of secret security.
Secret doors are made starting from the building and its furnishing style. To be completely invisible, it is in fact necessary to make them harmoniously and coherently with the interior design.
The study of materials and construction types of the environment is the basis of the realization of secret doors. Other aspects to consider are the interior light, both natural and artificial, and the paths most used in the building according to the functions of the rooms.
WALLS WITH CONCEALED DOOR
Of the most common solution is the wall with a concealed door.
Wall paneling and wall coverings with rhythmic partitions are the ideal context because they allow the door to be perfectly camouflaged and also to integrate the opening and closing technology. Even on the walls with a smoother surface, it is still possible to build a hidden door, for example with a mirror or a painting of sufficient width to allow the passage.
CLOSET WITH CONCEALED DOOR
To make a concealed door, it is always possible to start from different furniture elements. A closet with a concealed door is another solution that can be made starting from the study of the specific situation, furniture context and requirements.
HIDING PLACES IN THE HOUSE
A hiding place is the ideal space to keep the most precious objects, such as jewels, or simply private ones that you want to keep as such.
Throughout our history, we have created hiding places for the most disparate objects: confidential documents, collection of antique objects, hiding places for special selections of fine wines. The hiding place shares the highest levels of security with the safe, but it is made according to the characteristics of the objects to be kept and the character of the spaces and architecture.
